LEARNING TO OVERCOME PANIC DISORDER

This course has been carefully designed and created to help you get rid of your panic attacks, panic disorder (and agoraphobia if necessary) and better manage your anxiety in general.
Throughout, this course presents a cognitive behavioural (CBT) explanation for panic attacks and guides you through PROVEN and evidence-based techniques and exercises. The information and the exercises in this course WILL help you greatly – either as a stand-alone treatment or, if you prefer, alongside some face-to-face cognitive behavioural therapy, you may also consider it in advance of your first CBT session or as a refresher course.
Please note that while this computer-based programme has been specifically designed to be user-friendly, it is really important that before you begin;
Make sure that you have already been diagnosed by your doctor as having panic disorder. Make sure that your trusted doctor has ruled out any physical or psychological difficulty that would interfere with your ability to safely and successfully complete this programme.
Your Instructor
A Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, Rosario has spent the past 15 years guiding and supporting people in taking control of their panic attacks and anxiety. This level of experience, along with a passion for helping people to help themselves, has given Rosario the understanding and expertise to offer such an effective treatment for this very distressing condition.
As a true believer of 'life-long learning', Rosario is very involved in the continued professional development of cognitive behavioural therapy - both as teacher and as a student!
She is committed to making effective treatments available to as many people as possible and enjoys using computer-based learning to help achieve this.
Running a busy private practice in Navan, County Meath, Rosario divides her time between; face to face CBT, group therapy and talks, and the training and supervision of fellow psychotherapists and professional well-being practitioners.
Rosario holds an MSc in Psychotherapy & Family Therapy, an Advanced Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Skills and Studies from Derby University, UK and a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the International Institute for Cognitive Therapy, Belfast.
She is a fully accredited practitioner with both BACP* and BABCP**
